Well......guess what?!  The Buckley pack expanded a little early.  I am ecstatic to announce the birth of my little princess, Katherine Elaine Buckley, aka Katie.  Crazy enough, my older brother pointed out that she was born on exactly "St. Katherine's Day"...amazing.   Anyway, Kaiser had us pegged at April 20th, but based on the 3D ultrasound 4 weeks ago Megan and I were starting to figure we were a little further along...Katie agreed 100%. It's a looooong story, but Easter started off by accidentally spilling fruit juice on my wife's Easter outfit...(minus 2 brownie points).   After a full day of church, socializing afterwards, family brunch, annual Easter egg hunt at my Grandma's, and catching up with family Megan began to feel terribly uncomfortable at 3pm.  She figured we just had too much activity and food.  Well, long story short.  We rolled into Kaiser at 6pm as a precaution and discovered Megan was 3.5cm along.  At 11pm she was ready to rock, 2 hours of pushing later, Katie was born screaming her lungs off at 1am on March 24, 2008!!!  She weighed 6 lbs 11oz, and was 19 inches long.  Mommy and baby are in perfect health.  Daddy has perfected the swaddle, fetching Megan ice chips, and kissing Katie's sweet little nose.  Katie has a full head of brown curly hair, blue eyes, and super long eyelashes!  We may be adding "flat iron" to the registry list ;-)
